How to Pass the LLQP Exam: A Study Plan That Matches the Curriculum
The LLQP rewards applied understanding: you will be given a client and asked what fits, what the contract does, or what the agent must do. A plan built around that, with timed practice, beats rereading the manual.
A four-step plan
- Finish the accredited course first. It is required, and it introduces the CISRO material you will use in the exam.
- Study by weight. In Life, A&S and Seg Funds, needs analysis is 35% and products 30%: two-thirds of the marks. In Ethics, contract law is 60%.
- Practise client scenarios and calculations daily. Read every explanation, especially for questions you got right by luck.
- Sit full, timed module mocks (35 questions in 75 minutes) and book the real module when you pass them consistently with room to spare.
Order of modules
Many candidates write Ethics alongside Life, because Ethics tests the legal rules (beneficiaries, disclosure, assignment) that also appear in the product modules. Remember the clock: in BC you must pass all required modules within 12 months of the first module you pass.
